And unsurprisingly for one of our locations, golf also figures high on the list. With twenty one world-class courses designed by internationally recognised names such as Jack Nicklaus and Nick Faldo on the island, it's no wonder that it has fast become a leading destination for our favourite sport.
At Two Rivers, we've found the perfect place to make the most of these simple pleasures. Located on the stunning north coast, next to the renowned Playa Dorada Golf Club and just 20 minutes from the Gregorio Luperon International Airport at Puerto Plata, this resort promises to be one of our most luxurious and impressive resorts so far.

Attractions
Two Rivers is just 30 minutes from Puerto Plata, the largest city of the Northern region and the most popular tourist destination in the whole of the Dominican Republic.
Gorgeous white sandy beaches and the strong surf and powerful winds off the North coast make it ideal for a variety of watersports, including sailing, windsurfing, boogie boarding and kiteboarding.
And if you can tear yourself away from the coast, there's also plenty to sightsee, with the historic fort, Fuerte de San Felipe, the Brugal Rum Distillery, the Amber Museum, and the Malecon or boardwalk all close by.
But for those wanting to see the more traditional face of the Dominican Republic, car rental is also simple and reasonably priced – perfect for long drives along the country roads, among the sugar cane, coffee and cocoa bean fields.
